Boatson.TV Launches Weekly Sailing Magazine

Boatson.TV Launches Global Weekly Sailing News Magazine Programme 'World On Water'® To Plug Gap in the Market.

Boats on TV (, the world's leading web based boating TV channel, has announced the launch of a weekly video news programme covering all the main news and events from the world of sailing and boating.

The programme, called 'World On Water', will launch on 14th January 2011. It will present a concise round-up of the top global sailing and boating news, delivered in an action packed format put together by Boats on TV's own production team. It will be offered as a free service, distributed in its own video player, to boating websites worldwide.
Boats on TV's CEO Geoff Waller commented, " 'World On Water' was an idea we had because there was no way for most sailing and power boating enthusiasts to get easy access to a regular TV programme containing the latest happenings from the world of boating". He added "We are very excited about the launch of World On Water and have been delighted about the response from websites who want to take the show. It will be the first time that many of these sites have posted video for the entertainment of their visitors and confirms our belief that the internet is rapidly becoming a TV style medium. It's fast, graphic, short and global just what our audience wants. "
The programme will be put out every Friday and there has already been strong interest in 'World On Water' with over 100 websites and channels keen to carry the show. 'World On Water' is designed to appeal to sailors of all types on every continent.
